November 15, 1954 Smile Restoration ardendentalcare.com Married 2
MHS primed me for an early career as a professional student, spending time in Santa Rosa, Davis, Tempe AZ, and San Francisco. I did have some major accomplishments during that period including marrying my lovely wife of 35 years, Carol, and fathering our first child, Brian. Carol had hoped my years in anthropology would have taken us to the sites of early hominids on the plains of Africa, but we settled instead on the plains of the Sacramento Valley. I abandoned studying the teeth of early man and have dedicated these last 28 years to restoring the teeth of modern man. It has been a rewarding career of creating new smiles for patients through cosmetic dentistry  and seeing patients who were to afraid to even call a dentist, successfully and comfortably complete their dental treatment through oral conscious sedation. Carol currently runs my office, but also spent years as a chemical engineer in the Silicon Valley, singing opera for Sacramento Opera, and, of course, being a wonderful mother for life to our two children.

We have prioritized travel in our lives, introducing our children to the wonders of our national parks and the Americas. We have not totally abandoned our archeology dreams as we have visited the magnificent ruins of ancient civilizations in Rome, Greece, Mexico,Peru, and Guatemala. Our children, Brian and Sabrina caught the travel bug after college and have completed extended journeys through Australia and New Zealand, and South and Central America, finally settling down in northern California.

We currently volunteer at Sacramento Children's Home, mentoring orphaned children, and I am active in Shriners where I dress up as a Keystone Cop for parades and community events to bring awareness to our Children's Hospitals.
     Hope to see you Saturday

December 30, 1953 Married
Hello folks! My Brother-in-Law, Skip Wellman turned me on to this site.
I'd like to warmly commend those involved in the research and design of this endeavor! Very well done! It makes it easy for the regular lo-life's (LOL!) like me, to post something! It's a no-brainer.

I am touched by the list of those no longer with us. Makes you think huh? Life is precious, no?

I married my forever girlfriend, Cindy Wellman (Montgomery class of 74'), in 1975. We're still "shacked up", living on Maui, for the last 10 years. I'm sure she would explain things a little differently. Since 1977, we both have been dedicated ministers involved in the world wide preaching work of Jehovah's Witnesses. While in school, I only knew of them as being those students who didn't salute the flag, or sing Christmas carols in Dr. Sprengers chorus class. Little did I know! LOL!
If anyone would like to drop a line, to reminisce, ask about a friend in common, or just say Hi!, I'm open. I am the same guy I was before the party's and drugs! Ha, ha!
I'm sure those that know me saw my personality, and know what I'm talking about!!
ALOHA! Coe Burnett

Retired Single Again 3
I can hardly believe it, where has the time gone ?  In some ways it seems so long ago and a moment later my mind is flooded with memories that seem like yesterday.

After High school I moved away for a few years, then while in the middle of a blizzard in Michigan I thought what the heck am I doing here, so in the Spring after the thaw I moved home to Santa Rosa, that was in 1977.  I have lived within a couple of miles from where I grew up, my parents still live there.

I have 3 wonderful children, one homemade, two adopted, all of them went to Matanzas, Slater, Montgomery and the JC.  My baby girl just graduated from Montgomery May 2012. It was interesting on back to school nights, I did see a few classmates, some with children, some with grandchildren, but it was always such a mad dash to the next class I didn’t talk to anyone, then they are gone.

I attended the JC for a few years, then graduated in 1982. I worked for a Family Practice Doctor for 25 years, he has retired and now I am pondering my next direction.

Basically life is good  !

March 09, 1954 Executive Director Married 1
Really looking forward to this reunion, and thanks for this great website!  So very sorry to see the long list of names who will not be joining us --     I graduated from Humboldt State University, went to southern California to go "pro" as a musician (didn't pan out) and ended up working for a PR firm there.  I moved to southern Oregon 32 years ago, opened a consulting business, married my husband Jan Ritter (an IT guy), had our son Jesse (student at Oregon State University), and 10 years ago was fortunate to be hired as the executive director of an urban renewal agency.  I get to build roads, parks, city halls, and restore old buildings...best fun ever, second only to traveling to historic places (especially England!) which I hope to do a lot more of one of these days.

May 14, 1954 Real Estate Broker Single Again 2
I found this site too late for the 40 year reunion? Darn it!  I would have liked to have seen old friends and acquaintances after all these years. It still is hard to believe  that we are the old folks now. Mentaly I  still feel like the same person as when we went to Montgomery. Maybe a little smarter now.
Lets see, I have two wonderfull daughters. Four grandkids by the oldest, and one new grandson by the youngest. All are cute as buttons. My oldest grandson is in the Air Force now. I still  get up to Northstar skiing a few times every year, and take all the kids.  And I get in as much trout and salmon fishing as I Can. Love taking the grandkids to Eagle lake a couple times every  year. Great fun Trout fishing there.  I've been a Real Estate Broker in Lakeport Ca. now for the last 16 years.  Nice place to live. Like Santa Rosa used to be. Anyone want a waterfront home? Anyway, it would be good to hear from, or see at the next reunion, old friends. Please contact me if you like.   Live long & prosper everyone.

April 19, 1954 R.N.,B.S.N. Divorced 2
I am looking forward to seeing you.  Tme has flown and it seems like only yesterday.

Immediately after graduation I took off for Seattle to attend Seattle Pacific University and pursue my degree in Nursing. After graduating in 1977, I married my college boyfriend. I started my Nursing in Neonatal ICU and much later moved to Adult Cardialogy and now serve as Director of Nursing, Infection Preventionist and Concious Sedation Nurse in our O.R. at North Coast Medical Center. (If you are in pain originating from your spine...call me)

I waited 7 years to start my family while putting my husband through his Masters and PhD. Now I am the very proud Mama to two awesome sons, Ben 28 (Americangold ATM.com),  and my little one, Andrew 25 (was a premie-Now 6 ft. 8 in.) (Currently in gradschool studying Theology and interreligious studies)

I was divorced after 20 years of marriage and chose to focus on work and my sons and so far have never remarried (15 years). My home has been the one where the kids (mainly boys) have come to hang out so I feel like I am the Mother to many wonderful sons who still call me 'Mom'. My kids are such a joy, successful in their own pursuits and yet unmarried.

Recently I have enjoyed my grand-kitties.  (If anyone has the desire for a kitty let me know.)

So I am very grateful for all of my blessings and while at Montgomery High I would've never imagined the twists and turns of my life.  But looking back at it all I am thankful for all the goodness of God and will say in our kids vernacular...It's all good. I look forward to talk more this weekend to you all.

Go Vikes! Bonnie D.

September 18, 1954 Educator www.highergroundforlife.com Married 4
After SRJC, I went out of state for college and grad schools...and then served for 17 years as a Chaplain in the Air Force. I loved working with young adults and took early retirement to pursue that love as a college dean of students. This led to starting three distinct ministries, kind of a portfolio career of part-time jobs, that has enabled me to organize spiritual life conferences and relationship programs around the country the past ten years.

I am based in Saint Louis, where we cheer the Cardinals with passion, my wife loves her teaching work, and two of our four adult children are located along with many friends. On our Facebook page I have very much enjoyed glimpses into your lives and the memories we share from MHS. My wife and I look forward to seeing you all in September!
